My wife is a Registered Dietician with a Masters in Nutrition. She
uses your spice exclusively for taste, lack of impurities and overall
benefit to the outcome of the dish. We
will be giving these out soon to our friends.
Keep up the good spice work!!!!

you asked how your customers use this?
Bobby Flay has a great grilled shrimp salad served over greens that
also has grilled corn, and crumbled tortilla chips on top.
These jalapeno slices (he calls for pickled, I prefer yours) add
exactly the right spice to the salad. It's become a weekly summer
fave, sometimes done with chicken, too.

I want to
share the joy that I have now that I have found your Spicy
Sweet Jalapeño Relish. My mother is a connoisseur of all
things spicy, and she's brought some pretty interesting
condiments home. One day, I came home from work and she had
made some chili dogs for me (she didn't plan to eat one).
She decided before she left that she would have one, and she
went to the fridge and pulled out this jar with an orange
label. Now, I'm a fan of jalapenos, so I was interested. She
put the jar up to my nose to smell... I immediately put down
my plate of chili dogs, got my car keys back off of the hook
and left the house. I drove to the corner store for 2
bottles of Bud Light, came back and put the jalapeño relish
on my chili dogs. That was 4-5
months ago. I have not had a chili dog without your Spicy
Sweet Jalapeno Relish since. I've had the opportunity to eat
one without it, and I have passed. I've since turned
coworkers and my best friend (my main food testing buddy)
onto this hidden treasure. My friend lost his mind and has
been scouring the city looking for his own jar.
Meanwhile, I've put the stuff on
hamburgers, beans and rice, and as I am typing this, I'm
enjoying an "enhanced" bowl of chili. This stuff doesn't
quit. So don't quit making it! :)

Your Ten Bean Soup is the best “beans and
rice” dish I have ever tasted. My
family was experimenting with new flavors
about a year ago and fell in love with the
Ten Bean Soup. We were quite sad for a
few months when we couldn’t find it at our
local grocer. When they got the
product back in stock, we bought several
bags to make sure we’d have some for a
while.
Thanks for this great combination of beans
and spices. I have yet to find its
equal.

Hello, I was
introduced to the Red Beans package by a lady in the
Kroger grocery store. She was purchasing several
bags of them and told me they were the best. Of
course I had to try them and she was right. They
are sinfully good.
I put link sausage in mine and
I have served them several times. I received a Gift
Package for Christmas and I am enjoying the
products. My next favorite product is the Blue
Magnolia Classic Cinnamon Bread Pudding mix. I
prepared it today for a luncheon and it was the best
I have ever ate. The sauce recipe is wonderful.
Everyone wanted the recipe! I am so glad to be able
to order from you website. I am placing a big order.
Thanks for all the great products.

Dear Southern
Seasonings,
I find myself cooking your fabulous Ten Bean
Soup very early this morning. My brother, who lives in Kenner, sends
me a dozen packages every few months. I noticed this morning
after all this time that I could contact you. First, I would love if
you would send a recipe pamphlet to me. Secondly, I was
wondering if your products are available on the East Coast or
possibly by direct mail order. I am only familiar with the Ten
Bean Soup. Could you send me a list of your other products so
I pester my brother into sending me other goodies?
Rhonda, Edison, NJ
My husband loves your Cajun Style Black Bean
Soup. I serve it over a bed of rice with Polish sausage. It's
wonderful!!
Thank you,
Sharon, Waynesboro, TN
Hi,
Someone gave me this package of Cajun Style
Pinto Beans. I cooked them as directed. We loved them.
So. Thanks. Will look for more somewhere.
Sylvia, Duncan, OK
Hi,
We've really enjoyed your product. We
would like recipes and other product information. We like
trying new things. We also like to eat.
Thanks,
Patricia, Hartselle, AL
Bootsie's:
I've tried your Cajun Red Beans with chunks of
chicken - EXCELLENT!! I use your Jambalaya Dinner package
quite often, we love that one.
Please send my recipe pamphlet a.s.a.p.
I'd like to know what the "spices" are in the Cajun Beans??
Thank you,
Ben, Vista, CA
Loyal fans of your products even to the point
that before we could find them here in Georgia we had friends in
Louisiana ship them to us. So it would be great if you could sort of
do the same.
Thank you so much!
Lea, Newman, GA
Dear Sirs:
I bought your product "Louisiana Spice"
when I was in New Orleans last year. My whole family loved it and we
used it on almost everything - beef, pork, chicken, in soups and
stews - it's great. The only problem is - I can't find it in our
area. Do you have a list of stores that carry it in the St. Louis
area?
Please write and let me know.
Thank You!
Sherry, Dittmer, MO
Dear Southern
Seasonings,
Since making good roux takes time, I have been
looking for the perfect roux in a bottle since moving away from my
home state of Louisiana. After experimenting with several local
brands here in Beaumont, I happened upon your roux at Albertson's
Store.
This is by far the best roux. It is just like
the one I make from scratch and just as good as my moms. I no longer
make my roux from scratch and no longer have to try other brands.
I have told numerous people about your product
and hope they enjoy using it as much as me.
Thanks again for selling your product here in
Texas.
Shirley, Beaumont, TX
Howdy!
I was in the open market on the edge of the
French Quarter a couple of months ago and purchased an eight-ounce
bag of Popcorn Rice Dinner. I made some last night (I used bay
scallops from my area) and it was love a first bite.
I am now lamenting the fact that I did not buy
TEN bags. Please send whatever info I need to make this purchase and
thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
Sincerely,
Faye, Salem, MA
Dear Southern
Seasonings:
Please send me a free recipe pamphlet and
information about your other products.
I sure do love the Cajun red beans.
Since Food Lion Grocery Stores moved into our
area, I am getting to try many new things not available before,
including the "Bootsie's South Louisiana Cooking"
products such as the Cajun Red Beans.
Thank you for the information requested.
Karen, Middle River, MI
Hi Folks,
I had my first taste of one of your seasoning
products recently and it was great! It was your "Gumbo Dinner"
ready-mix, which I added shrimp, fish, scallops & mussels to. The
back side of your Gumbo Seasoning package offered a list of other
products you offer as well as a recipe list. I would very much like
to have both. I particularly like Cajun Style (spicy) seafood,
soups, gumbo and dishes.
Thanks,
Jerry, LaHabarra Heights, CA
I would very much like to have the free recipe
pamphlet and information about other products offered on the back of
the Bootsie's red
beans bag.
You also invited us to say Hi. We were
transplanted New Orleanians for four years and, not unexpectedly
became very fond of the food there. My family especially enjoyed the
red beans and rice. But when we moved to TN about twenty years ago I
could never seem to make it with the good taste we had there.
Recently I found Bootsie's red
beans, cajun style (with the proper seasoning enclosed) here in a
Kroger grocery. Now, my husband says that I have finally learned to
make red beans! I am sure that he would be very appreciative of my
attempts with some of your other products.
Thanks again.
Sincerely,
Jean, Franklin, TN
